What is a Water Tender?
A water tender is a specially designed vehicle that can transport water, foam, or dry chemicals to fire trucks in the field. A huge truck-mounted tank with a minimum of 1,000 gallons and a maximum of 4,000 gallons of water is used by water tenders.
